Madhushree lends voice to item tracks

Singer Madhushree, best known for Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad (Yuva) and Tu Bin Bataye (Rang De Basanti), is set to lend her voice to item numbers in the Mallika Sherawat starrer Dirty Politics and the Richa Chadda and Neil Nitin Mukesh flick, Dusshera. Madhushree, who recently came out with the pop fusion album, Pal Ek Ehsaas, says, “I have a highly versatile voice, which is apt for fusion and pop numbers.” Talking about the Dusshera track, for which she is collaborating with Rekha Bhardwaj, she says, “It is a naughty number, but there is nothing cheap and vulgar about it. I would never have sung for it otherwise. The song has a very interesting composition.” She is also kicked about a song she recorded for Welcome Back. “I am sure the track will become a hit among the masses,” she says.
