Lata Mangeshkar praises IAF, remembers Swatantrya Veer Savarkar on his death anniversary

The entire nation is feeling proud today due to the brave move by our Indian Air Force. Today morning, the Indian Air Force dropped 1000kg of bombs from 12 Mirage 2000 jets destroying the camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad in PoK. This has come in a wake of the terrorist attack on Pulwama which took place on February 14.
Many Bollywood celebrities along with regional stars shared their contentment through social media.Similarly, our pride of the nation, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar expressed her happiness and praised the IAF for the attack.
The singer shared a throwback video of herself singing Vande Mataram, She captioned the post as, "'JAI HIND, JAI HIND KI SENA'. Besides this, the singer also remembered freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. As today is his death anniversary, Lata, too showed him respect by sharing a video of herself singing freedom fighter's poem Jayostute. On Twitter, she wrote, "Aaj Swatantrya veer Savarkar ji ki punyatithi hai.Main unke vyaktitva ko aur desh prem ko koti koti pranam karti hun."


Moreover, the veteran singer has decided to donate Rs 1 Crore to the Indian soldiers on her father’s death anniversary.
