This comes after fellow Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh came under fire for selling his concert tickets for as much as Rs 54 lakh. The high demand for the tour tickets, reportedly led to ticket scalping, prompting resellers to put tickets up for grabs for as much as $64,000. The singer's North American leg of his tour generated close to $28 million (Rs 234 crore).

Aujla is currently one of the biggest acts in the country with several hit Bollywood numbers to his credit. In a recent interview with IANS, the singer admitted to feeling pressured in raising the bar with each new song. "There’s a certain level of pressure that comes with consistently releasing hit songs. Each release brings high expectations from my fans and the industry, which can be both motivating and daunting. I always strive to give my best, and while I love creating music, the fear of not meeting those expectations can sometimes be overwhelming. However, I try to focus on my passion for music rather than the charts.”
