Filmmaker Karan Johar's movies have always had a high emotional connect and melodious music that strikes a chord with the audience. His upcoming film, 'Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921),' which is produced by him is no different. It brings together on screen Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, who share a sizzling chemistry, along with the dapper Fawad Khan. Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah also play pivotal roles in the movie.

Rishi Kapoor unveils his look for 'Kapoor and Sons'

which has a good mix of foot-tapping numbers and melodious songs. The Amaal Mallik-Fazilpuria collaboration 'Kar gayi chull,' which is sung by Sukriti Kakar, Neha Kakkar and Badshah, is an out-and-out party number. 'Bolna,' a soft track, is brought alive by Arijit Singh and Asees Kaur's mellifluous voices. With its fair share of Punjabi lyrics, the song has a lingering impact. 'Buddhu sa mann,' rendered by Amaal and his brother Armaan, is also garnering a good response due to its heart-warming lyrics.

A visibly happy Karan credits his director Shakun Batra, who has a ear for melody, for the album's success. He says, 'The music of 'Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921)' is an extension of the narrative. Be it the party starter 'Kar gayi chull' or the soulful 'Bolna' or the zingy 'Let's nacho,' the film's soundtrack is rocking music charts.'
