Abhishek Kapoor's highly-anticipated friendship film Kai Po Che’s music that has been composed by Amit Trivedi has caught on with audiences.
Two songs — Manja and Meethi Boliyaan have become chart-toppers with everyone going ga-ga about the soul-stirring numbers. The third song of the album — Shubhaarambh, has just been released and has been well received.
The lyrics of Kai Po Che (a Gujarati victory call sounded when someone cuts a person's kite during Makar Sankranti), penned by Swanand Kirkire have also been appreciated by people across age groups.

Director Abhishek Kapoor says, “It’s pure unadulterated soulful Indian music and had to be appreciated. Amit belts out a mesmerising album on songs written beautifully by Swanand. The Kai Po Che album is and will always remain one of the best albums I have worked on till date.”
