Jubin Nautiyal: My dad is COVID negative now, but we are still monitoring him closely

positive

for

COVID-19

, but has tested negative now and is under home isolation. Talking about the same, Jubin tells us, “Yes, my dad had tested positive. We are still trying to figure out how and when (he got COVID-19). My dad is a very hardworking man. He was working in the

pandemic

for the cause of our native place (his father is the former Chairman, Zila Panchayat,

Dehradun

), and I think he met someone somehow (who was COVID positive). We tried to locate everyone he met. He informed everybody, and nobody in that time frame that he met was tested positive. We tried locating it but we could not figure out how he got it."

He adds everyone else in the family had tested negative. “Everyone, from out family to the staff, tested negative. I think we were lucky that he isolated himself in time. He is better now, and has tested negative, but we are observing him closely. We are making sure that he is completely fine before we let him go out again,” he shares.

On the work front, Jubin has recently reunited with Payal Dev for a song that has been composed by Payal and sung by Payal and Jubin. Talking about his equation with Payal, Jubin says that she is like family. “She understands my voice and music and she is like family to me.”
