Jasbir Jassi is excited for Cannes

Singer Jasbir Jassi will also be present at the Cannes Film festival this time around.
On Monday night, Jassi headed to the French Riviera city to participate at the ongoing film festival, and before boarding his flight, he told TOI, “I’d been planning to go there.
Finally, this year, when I got the invitation to participate, I made up my mind that I have to go and ensured that none of my performances clashed with the dates of the festival.I am extremely excited about going to Cannes. In fact, I am not just promoting my movie “Khushiyan” there, which stars Tisca Chopra, but I am also performing there on the May 16. That’s why I am thrice as happy – I meet people there from all walks of life, get to show them my movie, as also perform there. I want to showcase Indian talent on a global platform, and what better place than Cannes? A few people from the National School of Drama are also headed to Cannes this time. We hope to ensure that people there realize how talented Indians are.”
