'Izzat ka sawaal hai': Badshah vows grand comeback with 20,000 fans on March 22 after being stopped at London’s O2 Arena
In a viral video that has set the internet abuzz, Indian rapper Badshah revealed he was denied entry into London's iconic The O2 Arena just weeks before his history-making headline show. The "Paagal" artist, who is set to become the first Indian rapper to headline the world-famous venue on March 22, 2026, shared a clip on Instagram standing outside the closed doors, appearing visibly frustrated.
Badshah’s bold vow
Walking in front of the arena doors in a red-and-blue tracksuit, Badshah turned the snub into a rallying cry for his fans. He wrote on the video:"Andar ghusne nahi diya, ab 22 March ko 20000 ki family ke saath ghusunga." (They didn't let me in, now on March 22, I'll enter with my family of 20,000.)The rapper captioned the post by stating it’s now a "matter of respect" (Izzat ka sawaal hai), challenging his London fans to show up in record numbers.
Nora Fatehi and fans react
The post quickly garnered millions of views and support from the industry. Nora Fatehi, who has collaborated with Badshah on hits like "Zaalim" and "Garmi," was quick to cheer him on, commenting a spirited "LETS GO."One fan commented, “Turn the O2 into the O Teen.” Another said, “SEE YOU SOOON.” A third wrote, “Abhi to party shuru huyi hai.” Another comment read, “Cant wait to do the content @badboyshah paji you will rock it.” One more fan added, “We’re always proud of you.”
Despite the minor pre-concert hurdle, the March 22, 2026 show remains one of the most anticipated events in the global South Asian music calendar. Badshah is set to become the first Indian rapper to headline a full-scale production at The O2, following in the footsteps of legends like A.R. Rahman and Arijit Singh.
