India's Justin Bieber?

Going by the way her internet popularity is increasing, 15-year-old, Shraddha Sharma may well be on the verge of scripting her own Justin Bieber success story.

The latest Indian sensation on YouTube is a girl from Dehradun, Shraddha Sharma, who has captured the nation's attention by her sweet voice and good looks.
The 15-year-old, who uploaded her first song "Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki" from the movie ""Virsa"" on April 30, 2011, has since then uploaded six videos (of popular Bollywood songs) that have amassed more than two million views in all, making her channel, Shraddharockin, the highest subscribed channel in India with 18,583 subscribers (that's more than JohnAbrahm Official, which has 9329 subscribers).
She created her facebook page on August 17 and within a month she has over 49,850 fans, and as much as 2206 people following her on twitter. She describes herself as a "Normal girl residing in Dehradun". Giving credit to her mother for introducing her to music, she says, "She is my first teacher, my first audience and my inspiration." The XI standard science student, who belongs to a family of musicians, says she wants to be a rockstar. "I want to see myself standing on Justin Bieber's place, even higher. I know my dreams are really big, but I believe dreams are fulfilled only when they are seen," Shraddha says.
For a girl her age, Shraddha is handling her fame pretty well, posting messages on her social networking sites like a pro. But as they say, with fame comes criticism, Shraddha too had to face criticism with some saying "She is just a pretty face" and some saying "He guitar playing is fake and she makes weird faces." She answered her critics by tweeting, "To all my haters who posted crap on my page last night... Love me or hate me I'm still gonna shine. Keep rockin."

And shining she is, for sure, with most of the viewer's posting positive and encouraging messages on her videos. Trisha posts, "You are a talented young womanamazing voice." While Nidhi posts, "Big fan! Good music." "You are awesome!!! Awesome!!! Anddddd awesome!!! Can I have your autograph and photograph pls?" writes Sonu.
