Music crosses world boundaries, and at the concert ‘…The Journey Continues’ on May 13, musicians from three distinct worlds of symphony — India, Middle East and Europe — will play the tabla, oud, saxophone and flute for a blend of Indian ragas and rhythm, Middle Eastern makam, Swedish folk and European jazz. Percussionist Fazal Qureshi, the son of the legendary tabla maestro Ustad Allarakha will celebrate the legacy of his father and guru Abbaji on the occasion of his 96th birth anniversary with this concert.

In concert are eight performing artistes — tabla player Fazal Qureshi, santoor player Rahul Sharma, saxophonist Andres Hagberg, oud soloist Ahmad Al-Khatib, guitarist Sanjay Divecha, Sridar Parthasarathy on mridangam, sarangi player Sabir Khan and multi-percussionist Varun Sunil. will be in concert at St Andrews Auditorium in Bandra. It will be hosted by theatre personality Darshan Jariwala.
