In Mahendra Kapoor's memoriam...

On the eve of the 76th birth anniversary of late singer Mahendra Kapoor, his fans and members of the music fraternity gathered to witness a musical extravaganza in his memory, put together by his son Ruhan Kapoor and Ram Jawhrani.
Yash Chopra fondly recollected his days with Mahendra and described him as “a great singer whose music will live on for generations.” Ram Jethamalani remarked that the stature of musicians like Mahendra Kapoor made him nervous because he belonged to a family which did not even boast of a bathroom singer!
Salma Agha, Pankaj and Farida Udhas, Sanjay Dina Patil and Johny Lever were also present at this fitting tribute.
