Harshdeep Kaur's latest hymn is spiritual and ushers in peace

Talking about it, she says, “I strongly feel that any kind of prayer can influence our state of mind, which then has an effect on the state of our body. It helps with anxiety, sadness, blood pressure, sleep, digestion and breathing. It also can influence thinking and help us heal faster.”
Harshdeep has earlier sung ‘Ik Onkar’, ‘Satguru Nanak Aaye Ne’ and other prayers and hymns.
When asked how this one is different with respect to the feel, tone, tempo and soundscape, the singer explains, “‘Ik Onkar’ and ‘Japji Sahib’ are from the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs, covering various aspects of God and human relations with God. I have recited them in a very meditative style. People listen to them when they want to pray and meditate. ‘Satguru Nanak Aaye Ne’ is my original composition, which was my tribute to Shri Guru Nanak Devji, on his 550th birth anniversary. I collaborated with some of the leading artistes of our industry. The mood of this shabadh is celebratory yet spiritual. ‘Chaupai Sahib’, is a prayer written by the 10th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singhji. It is believed that reciting this ‘Bani’ during hard times makes you triumphant and soothes your soul.
