First look of Asha Bhosle's debut film unveiled in Parliament

First look of Mai, Asha Bhosle's debut movie as actor, was unveiled at Parliment's Balyogi auditorium on December 18.
Asha emotionally spoke of struggling growing up years, the sacrifices of her mother and her sisters. She also spoke on the tragedy that hit her two months ago and how she overcame it and how this will be her first and last film debut. She only wants to concentrate on singing in the future.Important ministers and the power packed rich and famous families of Delhi were present at the event.
Asha Bhosale and Savitri Jindal, Mother of MP & Steel Tycoon Naveen Jindal were honoured for being woman achievers.
The Film Mai is produced by Subhash Dawar & Nitin Shankar. The Film is being presented by ChandraKumar Jajodia and Vishveshvara Ventures (Mahaveer S Jain & Vijayta V Gandhi). Mahaveer S Jain and Vijayta V Gandhi were present on stage at the time of unveiling and are proud to be associated with a film on the sensitive topic that explores mother-daughter relationship. The film is directed by Mahesh Kodiyal and will release on February 1, 2013.
The Film is released by Wave Cinema owned by the late Ponty Chaddha.
