Concert featuring Amitabh Bachchan shifted to Gurgaon

The Global Sound of Peace concert, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, which was to be held at the Ferozshah Kotla Stadium in Delhi, has now been to the Leisure Valley grounds in Gurgaon. It will be held there on November 30.
Bachchan’s appearance is to be the event’s highlight, with him performing with composer Aadesh Srivastava.
Says Srivastava, “We dropped the idea of hosting the event at Kotla as we are planning to rope in a few prominent Hollywood singers for the show.In the past, Gurgaon has hosted major musical concerts and so we’d like to go for a larger venue.”
However, DDCA official Ravi Jain told TOI, “We haven’t been approached by anyone regarding a concert to be held in the Kotla stadium. So there is no event to be held there.”
