Alligators ahoy!

Thus, we were born! We used to jam together in the past and had plans of launching a band of our own. The band Cold Night for Alligators was thus born in 2008, out of our music bitten lives.Initially, we rehearsed without a vocalist. Singer Hjalte Bertelsen joined us in 2009.
Your genre of music We are into progressive metal, experimental metal, deathcore, techcore and Djent genres of music. We focus more on the style than on the lyrics, though.
Indian music We love the music of progressive metal band Skyharbour (which has members from New Delhi, Mumbai, USA, and UK) and have even performed with them in the UK, in the past. We’re also familiar with the music of the local band Chaos that performed with us in Trivandrum. While our Indian musical knowledge is limited to that, we’ve plans to check out some Bollywood music soon!
Cold Night for Alligators? Well, once we were searching for a font online and were pretty amused as we came across one named ‘Cold Night for Alligators.’ The funny name refused to leave our minds. We pondered over it, and decided that maybe it’s the perfect name for us. The name might sound ridiculous, but it describes us quite well, for we write and sing, nudged purely by the creative juices.
Landing in Kerala It’s our first time in the country itself and man, Kerala is extremely beautiful. We’ve not gotten enough of the beaches, the yummy food, the cool people and most of all, the awesome climate! We landed here expecting heavy rains all the time, but it has been quite pleasant throughout our stay here. We loved it!
Your best band moment Oh, the best experience so far has been our days here! We performed a mix of jazz and heavy metal in Trivandrum and the response has been quite encouraging. Cold Night for Alligators would definitely come back to Kerala and India, if opportunities beckon!
