The Sufi singer has recently collaborated with her son Kanishk Seth who is a music composer, music producer and indie artiste. Talking about the song she says, "Music is a universal healer. We wanted to share hope, joy, love in these strange, pensive, troubled times the world is going through. Our single, 'Rangi Saari' is that piece of hope and joy we want to send out to each and every individual across the world."


Rangi Saari, is a traditional

that symbolises love and all its playful mischiefs with the beloved. Kavita along with her son, Kanishk have blended the traditional with electronic music and presented a catchy yet refreshing version.


"Rangi Saari is a traditional thumri that has been rendered in different ways across years. When mom and I collaborated on this one, we wanted to share a soulful yet refreshing version of the same. The lyrics, the playfulness, the romance blossom with the groovy contemporary, electronic sounds", says Kanishk Seth.
