Singer
Anuradha Paudwal is making news after a
Kerala woman claimed last week that she was her (Anuradha) daughter. She stated that she has filed a petition before the Family District Court to legally establish the same. The lady also claimed Rs 50 crore as compensation from her biological parents for allegedly denying her the childhood she deserved. The court has admitted her petition and posted the case for January 27 besides asking the singer to appear along with her two children on that day.
Now, the singer dismissed the claims of the lady.
She doesn’t clarify idiotic statements. It’s below her dignity, Anuradha's spokesperson said. Anuradha Paudwal’s daughter Kavita was born in 1974 so the lady's claims are false. She has mentioned about Anuradha Paudwal’s husband but she doesn’t even know that he has already died. If she is actually her daughter, she should give Anuradha Paudwal money and not demand Rs 50 crore.
Speaking to IANS, the lady said it was around five years back when her 'father' Ponnachen revealed to her that she was the daughter of the singer. "I do not wish to defame anyone, but I just want to find out the truth. Since then I decided to find out the truth and I got the full support of my family also. Later I came to know from her social media post that she has said one daughter of hers had passed away. Then I tried my best to see my mother but every attempt was in vain. Finally, I tried a few times to speak to her on my mobile but that also failed to materialise and then we decided to seek
legal recourse," said the lady.
