Saturday evening saw four of Bollywood's leading music composers coming together on the same platform for a concert Music Heals.
It was a trip down memory lane as audiences got to listen to some timeless gems as singers like Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Javed Ali, Hariharan and Sudesh Bhosle sang compositions by Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Shiv-Hari and Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

It was when Alka was called to sing a composition for Laxmikant-Pyarelal, that the singer got a tad emotional about the late Laxmikant. "I have done some of my earliest songs with this jodi," said Alka, "And I remember Laxmiji always telling me that my singing is too soft. He used to tell me throw my voice and sing. Today, I'm really missing him."
