When Bombay Times asked her about the now famous performance video, an ecstatic Akasa tod us, “It was so surreal and out of the world that I couldn’t believe for the longest time. Initially, when the video was sent to me, I thought it was a morphed video and didn’t pay much heed. But then again, I saw that it had Deepika and Laxmi dancing for real, and was trending. In that moment I realised that my song has reached somewhere and Deepika was so into it. I was told that Laxmi chose the song as she has made multiple videos on that song and she loves it, but Deepika could have chosen any song other number to dance to but she chose my song and it was an unreal moment for me.”
