The young singer, who has lent his voice for music composer Jeet Gannguli’s debut indie track ‘Ae Mere Dil’, is dumbfounded with the kind of appreciation this song has received from his fans. In a video interview with Bombay Times, Abhay expresses his gratitude towards his listeners. “Besides really doing wonders, within two days, I think the music video of ‘Ae Mere Dil’ got seven million views and in the first day of it release, the song was trending number two on a video-sharing platform and it also happens to be the one to have earned ‘the fastest six million views’ title in 24 hours. I think it was really record-breaking for an indie song. And I am really happy with the response that people are giving to song. They're loving it and are accepting it for what we have portrayed. And I think it's really resonating with them. And that's what matters. It's trending everywhere at number one, in most of the playlists of different music-streaming platforms. So, we really are thankful for the wonderful response. Thank you!
