are a part of social media but the popular singer found a way to make the most of it.

In a chat with Bombay Times about her single, ‘

Crazy Lady

’, Aastha shares how she picked up the negative comments and made them to be the inspiration for her latest single.

She says, “One day, while scrolling down my comments section on Instagam, I observed people posting some negative comments. I noticed people saying things like ‘

yeh ladki pagal hai

’, ‘crazy girl’, ‘tu pagal hai’, and I thought, so what? I am crazy; this is how I am. That’s how the idea of this song ‘Crazy Lady’ came to me.”

Aastha owns up to it completely and says, “It’s important for everyone to be a little crazy at times, in order to make it big in life. At least I’ve made it big in life! There are so many people who have a little crazy streak in them and have made it really big in life.”

She goes on to add, “My song is totally inspired from my real-life experience. ‘Crazy Lady’ is so me. I talk all about my journey in this song. It goes like, ‘Papad bele maine akele,

dekho kahan chali

aayi…’ I have done it all alone. People don’t know what I have been through.”
