Aadesh's new album to be release soon

A new album, website and production house... birthday boy Aadesh Shrivastava has got the goods.
Aadesh's new album to be release soon
It’s ace composer and singer Aadesh Shrivastava’s birthday today, and he sure does have a few surprises up his sleeve.
A few days ago though, whilst seated comfortably in a restaurant at a suburban five star, he got down to talking tunes and more. Straight off the bat, Aadesh strikes you as a no-nonsense yet colorful personality. Soft-spoken and confident. In between bites of melt-in-the-mouth chicken satay dunked generously in a thick chili paste (he turns his nose up at the peanut sauce) he talks about how seriously he takes his work and the fact that he abhors shameless hype.
1x1 polls

“I’m not usually one to go about blowing my trumpet. I believe in doing my work first, having something in hand, something to show for, rather than ma king something out of nothing. I’ve seen a couple of people who do nothing and yet go on talking.
Back in 2006 I had collaborated with Wyclef Jean, Akon, Shakira. I was involved in various levels in the songs, be it rhythm track or a vocal or whatever but I never really made a huge noise about it. I believe pehle kaam karo phir baat karo,” he says, glancing at a message he had just received, concidentally, from Shakira on his messenger. “I’m going to be releasing my album called Sound of Peace worldwide. I’m so thankful to my producer Umesh Chug. He understands music. I had met him through Akon when he had done a reality show with the latter in Africa.
It’s going to be in Hindi and English, both. Five tracks are by me and Rashid Khan. My friends Wyclef and Akon do duets with me on this album and the London Philharmonic Orchestra too plays in it. The whole lot of them,” he says, eyes beaming. There’s also the lovely Pamela, a 17-year-old French singer on it and even a Marathi prayer in there! How’s that for variation?
Not one to pigeonhole himself, he’s also broadening his business interests, with some able help indeed, as he pointedly says, “I’m not a businessman. I prefer being in charge of the artistic side of things. That’s what I do best.” What he’s talking about, of course, is his new website and his production house, Avinisiya Entertainment, which in a joint venture with Alvina films, has the animated film Bomamo currently being worked on.

“I’d always wanted to achieve greater things. But I really believe in helping people out too, because when I was coming up in the music industry, things weren’t as easy as they are now. Richa Sharma, Sunidhi, Shaan. I gave them all breaks. They all deserved it. They deserved a chance,” he says.
Speaking about music, his approach is similar: Get your basics right first. “I play guitar, a little bit of piano. You may ask me whether I am comfortable with chords or lead-style playing. I say forget that. First learn how to tune the instrument properly!”
