Durga Puja is one festival that is close to every true-blue Bengali’s heart and that is not just because of just religious connotations, rather, it is because this festival is a celebration in itself and involves fun, food, cultural activities and a lot of music. And so, when
Jeet Gannguli was asked to compose a song especially for this festival, he was elated.
The composer, along with
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, had already come up with two devotional songs including Gajanan (for Ganpati) and
MaiyaTeri Jai Jaikaar
(for Mata Rani). This third one, a special Durga Puja song, titled Dhak Baja Kashor Baja completes his hat-trick of devotional numbers for religious festivals.

Ghoshal have done justice to both these songs beautifully. Shreyar eto shundor kontho (Shreya has a melodious voice) and she has sung it very well.
