Bollywood: It���s difficult to fit songs in a film like 'Pink' which is high on suspense and courtroom drama. Composers Shantanu Moitra, Faiza Mujahid and Anupam Roy have created a good mix for the album which opens with Faiza Mujahid���s 'Jeenay De Mujhe', a rock number sung by Faiza.This rock sensation from Pakistan makes her Bollywood debut with this full-throttle number. It���s a song that goes perfectly well with the film���s plot and captures the free spirit of the youth today. Second on the playlist is 'Kaari Kaari' which is a soulful track sung by yet another talented voice from Pakistani Qurat-Ul-Ain Balouch, popularly known as QB. This one is high on emotions and has a lot of pathos in it. QB adds the perfect depth to this song that also has impactful and well-written lyrics. 'Tujhse Hi Hai Roshni' is a soothing number that���s sung by Anupam Roy who made his Bollywood debut with 'Piku'. It gives a refreshing sound to the album after the dark 'Kaari Kaari'. The guitar riffs used in the song are in perfect sync with Anupam���s mellow voice. The last track of 'Pink' which is also the film���s title track is a peppy Latino-pop number. This upbeat track, all about girl power, has rap interludes by rapper EPR Iyer and vocals by Jonita Gandhi.
Overall, for a non-commercial film like 'Pink', the music comes as a surprise ��� it not only touches the soul but also manages to keep up with the pace that the promos promise.
