Music Review: Mardaani Anthem

Album: Mardaani AnthemMusic: YRF Music Composer: Salim-Sulaiman Actress Rani Mukerji is promoting the film with a special anthem that gives the message that women are as strong as men in spirit and will, if not physically. Written by Kausar Munir and sung by the versatile Sunidhi Chauhan and Vijay Prakash, ‘Tumko Nahin Chhodoongi’ is a rousing composition by the duo Salim-Sulaiman. Sensitive and emotional, the lyrics convey anger and frustration but also inner strength that the female gender possesses. However, somewhere around the middle, the progression loses steam.
