A romantic comedy starring Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall, 'Jai Mummy Di' also features actors Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon. The film has been directed by debutant Navjot Gulati.

A multi-composer, multi-lyricist album, this one has two recreated songs and one original.

The first track 'Mummy Nu Pasand', a Punjabi dance track is a remake of the hit Punjabi single 'Jaani Teri Naa' that was originally composed by Sukh-E Musical Doctorz. Recreated by Tanishk Bagchi who has also given additional lyrics, this song, sung by Sunanda Sharma and written by Jaani, has a contemporary groovy feel.

The chartbuster single from last year, 'Lamberghini' that was written and composed by The Doorbeen, and featured Ragini Tandan, has been recreated as '

Lamborghini

' by Meet Bros with additional lyrics by Kumaar. The foot-tapping number has been sung by the composers along with Neha Kakkar and Jassie Gill who also feature in the video.

The next, a soulful love song is easily one of the best tracks in the album. Composer Amartya Bobo Rahut, who has earlier worked in 'Drive', 'Tu Hai Mera Sunday', 'Aurangzeb', 'Uttarayan', 'Tumhari Sulu' and others, has created a heart-touching melody that is taken to the next level by the poignant rendition of Arijit Singh and Dhvani Bhanushali. Siddhant Kaushal’s Hindi-Punjabi lyrics will strike a chord with the young audience.
