Prof V Lakshminarayana Iyer’s musical legacy continues: Angel-faced Mahati has taken to the mike at the tender age of three.
Not surprising, since she comes from an illustrious musical family. While her great grandfather Prof V Lakshminarayana Iyer was a celebrated violinist, her grandfather Dr L Subramaniam is a maestro with the instrument and grandmother Kavita Subramaniam and mother Bindu are singers.

What made it interesting is that she chose to make her debut in Mumbai at the Siddhivinayak Temple, singing to her favourite Ganpati.
