Amit Chaudhuri launches his latest album

It was double whammy at Someplace Else, The Park, last Friday. Singer-songwriter-author Amit Chaudhuri performed and, at the same time, launched his latest album, “Found Music”, amidst much fanfare and cheering.
Said Victor Banerjee, who launched the album, “Amit’s music is not fusion. I was bowled over after listening to it and I am amazed by his talent. Very soon, I will be in Mussoorie with my wife, and, while everybody here gets fried in the heat, I will listen to Amit’s music with the fire burning in my fireplace!” The multi-talented Amit was not jittery at all.“The album has been launched in London and Mumbai already. However, this is Kolkata, and people here are very particular about their music. That’s why, I am a bit worried,” he said.
