Bringing Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms to the city with their brilliant performance of select pieces by the legendary musicians was the Duetsche Philharmonie Merck, a 70 piece orchestra, as part of their seven-city tour on Sunday night.

Bringing Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms to the city with their brilliant performance of select pieces by the legendary musicians was the Duetsche Philharmonie Merck, a 70 piece orchestra, as part of their seven-city tour on Sunday night.
With musicians and music enthusiasts walking in to watch the spectacular orchestra performance, the evening kick started with their beautiful renditions of the Indian and German national anthems.

The orchestra then took the audience to a magical high of sorts with their performance of Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3, Mozart’s Flute concert No. 2 in D major with flautist Henrik Wiese, Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 in F major and ending it with Brahms Hungarian dance. The concert not just saw a packed house, but also a happy audience who seemed to be bowled over by the orchestra’s seamless and magnificent performance.
