Lisa Mishra unveils soulful new single Teri Hoon

Following an explosive 2024 and 2025, Lisa Mishra is back with her poignant new single, Teri Hoon. The singer-songwriter has had a remarkable run, from her debut album Sorry, I'm Late and acting debut in Call Me Bae in 2024, to starring in The Royals, performing at Lollapalooza India, and joining Ed Sheeran on his Delhi tour this year.

Teri Hoon marks Lisa's artistic return to unadulterated romance. This track champions raw vocals and direct storytelling, standing out from typical pop with its live-recorded instrumentation and minimal production that truly lets the lyrics shine. Penned by the celebrated lyricist Shayra, the song beautifully encapsulates the feeling of boundless, all-encompassing love. The Dirty Jays enhance its sonic depth, while co-composers Siddhant Bhosle and Bhumika contribute to what could be Lisa's most exquisite musical offering to date.



Talking about this release, Lisa said, “Teri Hoon was composed with a very simple thought in mind: where are the ballads? I grew up in the world of Bollywood and romance, and my musical roots are all in the ballads of the 90s and 2000s. And yet, for the past several years I had not heard or made anything in that genre. I wanted to create a song that was organic in sound, with only live instruments and vocals carrying it through. And most of all, it would have to give the listener a feeling of overwhelming, limitless love. I feel I have done justice to my vision for a beautiful, organic song that does not need any distracting beats or digital sounds to convey its meaning. Both the audio and the visual are a return to the simple yet powerful music of decades past.”



The accompanying music video of the track directed by Anuj Samtani, DOP for Call Me Bae, is a soft, flowy and vulnerable visual depicting two lovers: one delivering the song to the audience and the other enacting the passionate romance through dance. The video is intentionally ambiguous, inviting viewers to seamlessly project their own love stories into the frame.
