At 14, Vivian Fernandes first discovered hip-hop when his friend gave him a CD with 300 songs in it. By the next decade, he became a well-known rapper with the moniker Divine. In 2019, Zoya Akhtar made a film based on his life,
Gully Boy (2019). In the last few years, Divine has had multiple concerts and shows, and he loves it. He says, “I really have fun on stage. That is one of my biggest strengths. One of the most important things I have done in life is that I have played in some really big shows. Being on stage gives me the greatest high I can ever get. For me, it is like going to a game and playing for one and a half hours. When I am performing, I express what I feel on that day. I really love playing live,” he says.
