While many recently released Bollywood films are finding it hard to maintain a firm grip at the box-office, 'Mubarakan', starring Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor has been shining brightly amidst its contemporaries.
According to the latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has now raked in an estimated Rs 12.50 crore in its second week, which is a better number than most films running in theatres now. Overall, 'Mubarakan' has earned Rs 47.50 crore nett and secured the seventh position in among the highest second-week collections of 2017.
While speaking in one of his interviews, Arjun shared his delight at his film's success. "I am really happy. The whole idea of doing this film was to make a family entertainer and to know that so many people are going to watch it with their families, friends and relatives and actually going back again to watch it because it is making them smile and laugh... It just makes me happy," he said.
The film also stars Athiya Shetty and Ileana D'cruz.
