Plot Summary

Mayuri (Ruhi) from Rohtak, Paroma (Satarupa) from Kolkata, Nandita (Akansha) from Hyderabad, Nazneen (Avani) from London and Sharon (Kyra) from Goa are all very different – with one thing in common. They’ve all been selected as ‘calendar girls’ in industrialist Mr. Kumar’s (Suhel) almanac. Shot by ace photographer Timmy (Rohit), the five girls share secrets and strike hot poses.

Mayuri gets a movie role and aims for bigger work while flattering everyone on set. Her secretary Tiwary guides her around Bollywood while she makes a name on social media with a huge fan following. Sharon gets modelling work via Anirudh’s PR firm but slaps Anirudh angrily when she hears he’s spreading false rumours of their affair – and then loses assignments.

Nazneen, who’s fought bitterly with boyfriend Inzamam in London, who suspects she’ll do porn in India, signs a movie and is delighted – but loses work when there are angry anti-Pakistani protests.

Introduced by her friend Naina, Nandita, who comes from a family of CEOs, meets dashing industrialist Harsh Narang (Vikram Sakhalkar) who proposes to her, on condition that she stops modeling. Nandita’s CEO sister advises her to marry Harsh and she agrees.

Paroma meets her ex-boyfriend Pinaki (Keith Sequeira) in Mumbai. He’s in PR and invites her to a party of prominent figures from the cricket world. Batsman Akhil hits on Paroma but Pinaki tells him to back off and resumes his affair with Paroma, who admires his success in Mumbai.

Nazneen is desperate to survive and meets Ananya (Mita), a high-class madam who runs a prostitution ring for the elite. Ananya promises Nazneen big money and confidentiality. Nazneen finds herself an escort girl for elderly power brokers, industrialists, etc.

Meanwhile, Akhil tells Pinaki he must have Paroma and Pinaki tells Paroma his dream, of making money from betting in the upcoming cricket league and emigrating to America with her, is in danger unless she accepts. Paroma, who’s in love with Pinaki, agrees. She seduces Akhil and convinces him and his team to drop matches, so Pinaki can make huge money.

But CBI officer Paranjpe is watching them.

The girls reunite when Nandita and Harsh get married.

Sharon meets top TV news anchor Shashank on her return. He’s impressed by Sharon and says she should work in his network’s entertainment programmes. Sharon starts hosting shows and does so well, Shashank says the bosses want her to move to Delhi and anchor a serious news show, Badi Bahas.

Mayuri is offered 1.5 crores from builder Makhija to act opposite his son Bablu. She wants the money and a flat and accepts as Tiwari tells her she can simply stall the movie when she gets a better one. Mayuri also meets director Madhur Bhandarkar and tells him she’s a fan.

Meanwhile, Nandita is told by Naina that Harsh should be watched as he’s cheating on her. Nandita tells her parents in law but they casually explain that cheating is their tradition and a stress-buster, so she, being Harsh's wife, should not bother. Nandita travels with Harsh to Mumbai but he’s distant from her.

In Mumbai, Nazneen is sent to another mystery client – who turns out to be Harsh. He pushes her into bed even as Nazneen is totally shocked. Later, Nazneen meets Nandita over lunch and hears that Harsh is cheating on her friend. Suddenly, Harsh joins them and Nazneen gets distressed and leaves the lunch.

Madhur offers Mayuri second lead in his next movie and she gleefully accepts, saying she’ll stall the Makhijas.

Meanwhile, Nazneen wants to quit being an escort. She rings Inzamam for reconciliation but he brutally tells her to get lost. Nazneen tells Ananya she wants to stop. Ananya requests her to do one last assignment with a foreign diplomat.

Paroma gets arrested by the CBI on charges of match fixing. There’s stiff evidence against her and Pinaki has left the country and her in the lurch. Her enraged father and brother, who advised her against a career in the glamour world, come from Kolkata to bail her out but reject her.

Paroma tries to commit suicide but stops as she’s offered a reality TV show.

Nazneen meets Dimitry, the elderly diplomat, in his hotel. Dimitry swallows four aphro pills to help him perform but dancing around drunk, he crashes into a glass table and dies. Panic-struck, Nazneen rushes out and gets hit by a truck on the road, dying on the spot, unclaimed.

The girls meet at her funeral, deeply upset.

Paroma enters the reality contest house.

Sharon discusses the fate of Calendar Girls on her show and says the platform is not important, individual choices make or break a person.

Sharon marries Shashank and Nandita and Harsh have a baby.
