Simran Synopsis: Simran is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Hansal Mehta which features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. Production began in March 2016 and principal photography commenced in October 2016 at Atlanta, United States. The movie is loosely based on the life of Sandeep Kaur, an NRI in the United States who has been convicted of four bank robberies.
Simran Story: A Gujarati housekeeping lady in the US allows ambition to get the better of her & gets involved in a world of crime. Simran is a racy, fun film with Kangana Ranaut playing the titular role.
Simran Movie Review {3.5/5}: The nice thing about Simran is that it ventures into an area where the Bollywood heroine offers no defence for being a badass. The protagonist, a woman with an undaunted spirit, lives and loves by her own set of rules. She refuses to have 'sex without protection' and is constantly up for adventure. 'Simran' box office collection Day 2: The film collected an approximately Rs 3.40 crore at the ticket window, thus taking its total to an estimated Rs 5.83 crore.
'Simran' box-office collection Day 3: The film saw an upward graph during the weekend where Sunday's collections were the highest so far with Rs 3.65 crore.
