Firangi Synopsis: Firangi is a

movie of period action-comedy drama genre set in the year 1920. It is directed by Rajiev Dhingra. The film stars Kapil Sharma, who is also the producer, along with Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill. The film was shot primarily in Punjab and Rajasthan. Initially, the film was set to release on 10 November 2017, however on 12 October 2017 it was announced that the film would be releasing on 24 November 2017. On 21 November, the release date was again postponed due to the delay in obtaining a censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. On 24 September, Kapil Sharma agreed on to sing an unplugged version of the song "Sahiba" from the film; which he sung live on 22 November. The music of the film was officially released by Zee Music Company on the 21 November 2017.

Firangi Story: In 1920 during India's freedom movement, one man firmly believes the British are not as bad as everyone believes.

Firangi Movie Review {2/5}: The only actors who look logical and put in some effort to their characters are Edward Sonnenblick and Anjan Srivastav (as Gandhi bhakt). They try to infuse some method to the unending madness. Firangi moves at a snail's pace leading us to a semi-fun climax. The family film isn't really tacky or repulsive, it's outright boring and that's probably worse because it's not even unintentionally entertaining.
