Salman Khan happens to be the most eligible bachelor in B-Town. All of 50, the handsome actor has dated some of the most gorgeous Bollywood actresses in the past, but unfortunately never walked down the aisle with any. However, looks like Sallu is all set to lose his bachelor status. The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor has been rumoured to be dating Iulia Vantur for the longest time now. The Romanian TV presenter has been spotted with the superstar on several occasions and the two were even caught holidaying in Dubai together. A report on Mumbai Mirror suggests that the alleged couple might tie the knot by the end of the year, but what's more shocking is the reason why they might tie the knot. The report, in form of a blind item reads, "So the not-young and single superstar may well be married by the year’s end. The forever bachelor has decided that nuff’s nuff. We hear his current girlfriend, a foreigner, may soon end up being the most powerful woman in the film biz. Not an enviable spot, we assure you, for it isn’t her love that will make him pop ring. Rather it’s his ailing mum, who wants to see her baby boy well taken care of. Oh, the more things change."

Post his acquittal in the 2002 hit and run case, Salman Khan has been spotted with Romanian TV host, Iulia Vantur on several occasions. The actor was spotted at a jewellery store in Dubai, thus raising speculations about an impending proposal. However, if reports are to be believed, Salman and Iulia won't be tying the knot anytime soon. A source close to the actor told Business of Cinema that Salman and Iulia are not compatible enough to take the next step. The source was quoted saying that Salman and Iulia's telephonic conversations are very impolite and disrespectful. He further said that "Salman doesn’t look much in love with her," but they are good friends.

Salman clears the air on rumoured engagement with Iulia Vantur

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, when asked to comment on the rumours of his alleged engagement with Iulia Vantur, Salman said, "There is a lot of buzz about a lot of things about me, which is never true. Yes, I read what is written, hear what is said, and my right answer to your question would be that I am indifferent to all of it. The small things don't bother me at all, but they bother my parents. And that really bothers me,“ he says, continuing, “If they didn't care about all this nautanki giri, if the judges and public prosecutors laughed off everything that's written about me, it wouldn't bother me at all. Sahi jawaab na?" he smirks. “I think everyone has their own journey, their own realisation. I deal with my demons and everyone has to deal with theirs,“ he says. He further elaborates, "All this nautanki leads to fiveyear-long jail terms and I have to go to work with that sword hanging over my head and be Prem, where I am beautiful and pure. But actually I have 50, 000 things on my mind. My mother's not keeping well, my dad undergoes a surgery, it's difficult work my dear,“ Salman sighs, adding, “The more you deal with your problems without making a big deal of them, the more people point fingers at you and say, "Yeh dekho court cases hai, lekin isko farak hi nahi padta."

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma has denied reports that her brother is engaged to Romanian TV personality Lulia Vantur. There were reports that the couple were secretly engaged and wedding will happen early next year. Arpita took to Twitter to rubbish the rumours. "Do not believe everything you read in the papers or on different websites online... Really ya what rubbish do these people keep carrying," she wrote.

Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor recently appeared together on the cover of a magazine. Salman spoke on the concept of love and finding a soulmate in an interview with the same magazine. When asked about his crushes, Salman said that it had happened such a long time ago that he didn't even remember. He further added that he has liked many people and that for him, the word like is hundred times more powerful than love. He reasoned that love is old and just another word for need. When asked about soulmates, he said that sometimes one meets a person and immediately knows that they wouldn't connect and then there are times when one meets someone and feels like they have known the person for the longest time. He clarified that the lucky ones connect with each other while the rest of them are still waiting for a soulmate.

Salman Khan's saucy answer for questions on his marriage

According to a report on Dnaindia.com during a media interaction when the most eligible bachelor of Bollywood was asked when shall he get a 'double'(a metaphor for getting married), he replied saying that had already got doubled since Maine Pyaar Kiya and that now he would be tripling for Sultan. It has been reported that he further said, marriages are not for the lifetime especially in the current generation. The report further states that Salman went on to ask the reporter whether he wants him to get married permanently or temporarily.

Another reporter at the same event urged the Sultan actor not to get married and that's when he quipped that it sure was a nice debate where some wanted and some didn't want him to tie the knot. The report tells that Salman Khan then enquired whether they were trying to convince him or demorialise him.

The actor has been surrounded with a lot of controversies and is fighting a case in Jodhpur court in the killing of a black buck. Hence, Salman has decided to marry only after courts give their verdict. If the verdict goes against him, he will marry only after coming out of jail.
