‘Tumhari Sulu’ cleared with a ‘U’ certificate by CBFC
The film has been cleared with a "U" certificate by the CBFC, which underlines film's appeal for universal audience of all age groups. Directed by adman Suresh Triveni, ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is scheduled to release on November 17, 2017.
Vidya Balan: People's view has changed about the film industry now
Talking about her recently released song 'Hawa Hawai 2.0', the versatile star shared her apprehension before kick-starting the song. "I thought it's Sridevi's song and I got scared but then I realised that we will do it in an office setup and are not actually recreating the song. I have danced on this song all my life and I enjoyed shooting it a lot," she said.
While talking about how stepping into showbiz is not considered a viable career option by many out there, Vidya, who is also a newly appointed member of CBFC, said, "There are good and bad people everywhere. People's view has changed about the industry now. I am in this industry since 12 years and I have met only good people but there are people who haven't met the good ones so it's a matter of luck too.
Vidya was also spotted leaving for the meet and greet with BSF Jawans today morning. During the visit, she will also promote her upcoming film 'Tumhari Sulu'. Vidya will be spending time with BSF Jawans and will watch the cultural activities of the festival.

The actress was shooting for the song ‘Hawa Hawai 2.0’ and her niece believed that she shot the song sequence as apparently the cinematographer of the film allowed her to look through the lens.
The picture has Vidya and Ira standing behind the camera. Ira’s expression of amusement was really something worth capturing. Captioning the image, Vidya wrote, “When my princess ,my angel ,one of my two life lines Ira ....visited the sets of #TumhariSulu for the Hawa Hawau song shoot and believed she shot it because out cinematographer @saurabh_goswami13 allowed her to look through the lens ❤️❤️!!

Vidya Balan has been an ardent fan of Sridevi and she has time and again spoken about her admiration towards the ace actress. Sridevi has apparently not only given her consent for the same but will also be gracing the song launch event with Vidya.
According to reports, the makers of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ met with Sridevi and informed about her about the song before they slipped it in to the film. Sridevi was reportedly happy about it as she also adores Vidya as an actress. Reportedly, the team will also be showing her the song once it is completely edited and ready.
The reports further stated that the veteran actress will also grace the song launch with Vidya at a grand event next week after the trailer is unveiled.

'Tumhari Sulu' had marked December 1, 2017, as the initial release date but the makers shifted the date to avoid a clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, 'Padmavati'. With the film getting a clean 'U', fans of the actress are waiting eagerly for the film to hit the theatres.
