Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and written by Mehul Suri and Nidhi Mehra, 'Veere Di Wedding' also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. It is scheduled to have a 2018 release.

The initial cast of the film included Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Huma Qureshi but both of them opted out of the film due to its delay.
'Veere Di Wedding' is being produced by Sonam's younger sister Rhea Kapoor and internet sensation Sumeet Vyas will be seen playing Kareena's love interest in the film.
