Rishi Kapoor offered to quit ‘Kapoor and Sons’ twice

The fans might be surprised to watch Rishi Kapoor as a barely recognisable 90-year-old in the upcoming film ‘Kapoor And Sons’ but the actor confessed that it was not a smooth ride and he even offered to quit the film twice. Actually, the noted actor did not agree to director Shakun Batra’s way of filmmaking as he could not emote the same expression repeatedly for several shots which Batra wanted from different angles. He revealed how he had informed Karan Johar that he was leaving as this was a very difficult role, as reported by DNA. For 13 hours, he had to wear the makeup and emote in contact lenses so he couldn’t do every shot from many angles. He said that it was easy for the kids Alia, Siddharth, and Fawad as they don’t have any one particular style of working while Rajat and Ratna are from stage so they could do the same shot many times and yet make it look spontaneous. However, he was the odd one out and his spontaneity couldn’t be replicated over and over again. He made it clear that while he respects others’ style of working, he is not a method actor.

Though the actor might have found his new role and look difficult to pull off, this isn't the first time he has experimented with his look. Move on to check out yet another unbelievable avatar of the veteran actor...

You were in your mums tummy when I was serenading her in Bobby"Aksar koi Ladka" In 1973 lol.” Now that led to some people questioning Twinkle’s birth as to whether it was before or after her parents got married. Well, irked by the ridiculous speculation, Rishiji, once again took to Twitter to justify his previous tweet. The veteran actor tweeted, “Kuch logon ko problem Kya hai? Kakaji and Dimple were married, Bobby was still incomplete, we shot that song when Dimple was 3 months pregnant. Kakaji-Dimple married in March'73. Bobby released Sept 28th '73.
