Ayushmann Khurrana turns to language coach to learn Urdu while shooting in Lucknow
Ayushmann Khurrana may be busy shooting for his next film – ‘Article 15’, in Lucknow, but that has not stopped him from sparing some time to learn a new language. According to reports doing the rounds, the star has turned to a local language coach to help him speak Urdu fluently and even learn to write the script. The actor’s grandfather reportedly knew the language well and urged him to learn it. Moreover, Khurrana wants to pick it up because of his love for poetry.
Calling this decision a dream come true, the actor said that although he regrets not learning it from his grandfather, he is sure this will make him a better artist and poet.
To work on his skills, the star is reportedly putting in the extra hours and taking up classes three times a week while also juggling his ‘Article 15’ shooting schedule, being directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film revolves around the Indian Constitution that prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. He is also awaiting the release of Raaj Shaandilyaa's ‘Dream Girl’.
Ayushmann Khurrana reveals that his wife was upset with him kissing on screen in ‘Vicky Donor’

However, what the audience might not know is the disapproval of the wives of B-town star for kissing scenes. Recently, the ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ fame Ayushmann Khurrana reportedly spilled beans on his wife Tahira Kashyap's reaction on the kissing scene in his debut movie ‘Vicky Donor’. According to the reports, Tahira didn’t approve of the kissing scene and the couple was going through a rough patch in their relationship during that time.
Reportedly, Ayushman quoted, “She did not want me to kiss on screen. I was wanted by everyone (after Vicky Donor became a hit). We were also going through a rough patch. She was not ready for all this.”
At the same time, the star also confessed that with time things have changed in a good way. "But Tahira is also an artist. She has grown tremendously. I was very immature when I married. Plus, we had a long-distance marriage for the longest time. I am glad that things are good now,”, Ayushmann reportedly concluded.
It’s been eight years since Ayushmann and Tahira tied knots. They are blessed with two kids, Virajveer and Varushka. On cinematic front, Ayushmann will soon hit the screen with comedy-drama ‘Badhaai Ho’ and suspense thriller ‘Andhadhun’.

Ayushmann Khurrana to return with new single ‘Chan Kitthan’
After a wait of about two years, singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana is set to be back with yet another single ‘Chan Kitthan’. The song is his third collaboration with Bhushan Kumar post the success of ‘Ik Vaari’ and ‘Yahin Hoon Main’ and stars South actress Pranitha Subhash as his love interest. Directed by Suresh Triveni of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ fame, the song has been shot in some of the most pristine locations like Khardungla Pass, Tsomgo Lake, Gangtok, Tashi Namgyal Academy amidst sub-zero temperatures. It is a recreation version of the old Punjabi gazal on unrequited love which has been composed by Rochak Kohli with lyrics penned by Kumaar. Since Suresh Triveni wanted to show Ayushmann in a never seen before look, the actor will now be seen as a cop for the first time in the music video.
Ayushmann Khurrana says his wife would've left him if all his films were successful
The 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' actor kept things honest when he said that had all his films been successful, his wife would have left him as he would have become a different person. He hinted at things changing between them post the success of his Bollywood debut ‘Vicky Donor’, as egos swell amid so much attention but he also admitted to coming back on track and finding the balance in life with the constant support of his wife who stuck with him through thick and thin.
He also confessed to enjoying his huge female fan following which initially used to make Tahira jittery but is now accepted by her as a part of his artistic space.
Shooting in Delhi makes Ayushmann Khurrana feel like he's at home
Now, he is back to Delhi to shoot his next film 'Badhaai Ho'. The actor loves the capital city for its culture, food and its warmth. According to a report, a source close to the actor revealed that Ayushmann loves the street food of Delhi. Though it is hard for him to go unnoticed; he does hope to enjoy some local food at his favourite places in Lajpat Nagar and Gole Market. A stroll around Lodhi gardens and shopping old books at Daryaganj is his love. Now that the actor is in town, he would find some time and take his unit to relish the taste of local life in the city.
Talking about his schedule in the city Ayushmann reportedly said that it is like going back to home again for him. He feels that the winters in Delhi are poetic and the equation of his relationship with the city would be "different" this time. Elaborating further he said that it would be like seeing Delhi in a different light one more time.
