According to a report in The Indian Express, Ed Sheeran was present at the bash thrown in honour of the newlyweds - Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan and sister, Shweta Nanda threw the party for their cousin sister. The grand party was a private affair and was attended by Aamir Khan and his wife, director Kiran Rao, Hrithik Roshan, SRK’s wife Gauri Khan, Imran Khan and Riteish Deshmukh with wife, actress Genelia D’Souza among others. Besides the Bollywood presence at the party, English musician, Ed Sheeran also graced the do.

While the siblings threw a successful bash for the newlyweds, Amitabh Bachchan had his own style of welcoming the couple in the family. Here's how he did it...

Amitabh Bachchan has welcomed Kunal Kapoor in the Bachchan family and announced it to the world on his blog. "We are united today with another that now is our own... what a wonderful way of bringing in reverence to this sacred bond of togetherness and union...," Big B posted on his blog. The Shamitabh star, who is married to Jaya Bachchan, feels that weddings are a union of two souls. "Weddings to me are the coming together of two families into one... This union is greater and more admirable than the marriage itself... This is the association that makes the togetherness feel pure and united...," he wrote.

Newlywed couple Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan's friend, Malaika Arora Khan has shared the duo's first 'just married' picture on the photo-sharing site, Instagram and it is cuteness personified. The picture comes as a pleasant surprise since the two had always avoided being clicked together in public. According to a Bombay Times report, sources inform that Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan have married each other on February 9, 2015, in a private ceremony at the idyllic island of Seychelles in the presence of their family. The report stated that the couple, who earlier got engaged in a private ceremony, had a beach wedding in Seychelles. Apparently, they were introduced to each other by Naina's first cousin Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and they are likely to host a reception in Delhi when they return, the report concluded.

In an interview with TOI in the past, Kunal had said, "I'm busy with my work and same is the case with Naina. Our families will decide our wedding date. I'll be getting married soon." Naina, daughter of Amitabh Bachchan's brother Ajitabh and his estranged wife Ramola, is an investment banker. The couple was seen together at many events, but chose to remain silent about their relationship. They kept their wedding ceremony a secret too.

Rang De Basanti actor Kunal Kapoor got engaged to his ladylove Naina Bachchan in 2014 and admitted that they are in a "happy relationship." However, Kunal had said that he prefers not to talk much about his personal space. "I am a private person. I don't talk much about it (my personal life), but we haven't really got down and fixed the date or decided when to get married. It will happen soon for sure," Kunal had told media.

Naina and Kunal have been dating each other for nearly two years. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror after his engagement, Kunal had said, "Naina and I are together, and very happy, and we intend to keep it that way." Kunal has been away from Bollywood for some time now and has joined a theatre group which was run by Naseeruddin Shah.
