While Karisma's father, Randhir Kapoor, has opened up about the whole issue, her sister Kareena has maintained her silence saying that it is a "difficult time for Karisma.” When asked about the same recently in an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress retorted that how she supports her sister is “no one’s concern.” Kareena went on to thank fans for their support but also slammed gossip mongers on shelling out “500 versions of the matter (Karisma’s personal life), when no one knows the truth.” Kareena then made it clear that she is not going to comment on the issue since it is a very personal matter.

A report in Mumbai Mirror claims that Sandeep Toshniwal has reportedly split from his alleged girlfriend, Karisma Kapoor. The report claims that the reason for this is his struggle to stay out of public sight with the actress due to the pending family court orders. Karisma is estranged from her husband Sanjay Kapur while Toshniwal reportedly walked out of his marriage after meeting Karisma, the report further said.

After Sanjay claimed that the actress married him for money, the mother of two has now registered an FIR against him and his mother Rani Sunder Kapur at the Khar Police Station (Mumbai) alleging them of mental harassment, as reported by Mid-Day. Some time back, the estranged couple had withdrawn their consent to split and the petition of divorce on the grounds of mutual consent. Karisma Kapoor’s estranged husband, Sanjay Kapur, has filed a fresh application at the family court to claim the custody of their two kids – daughter Samiera and son Kiaan Raj Kapoor, as reported by Mid-Day.com. Sanjay’s lawyer also informed that his client had filed the same petition earlier but had withdrawn it after the couple filed for divorce. Karisma Kapoor may now not be divorcing her estranged husband, Sanjay Kapur, who is dating socialite, Priya Sachdev. The mother of two had barred Sanjay from meeting their kids – Samiera and Kiaan Raj Kapoor, a few days ago, which was followed by Sanjay not sending them any money, as reported on Bollywoodlivenews.com. According to a source close to Sanjay, Karisma may get only ten percent of his wealth if they get divorced which is why Karisma might be reconsidering the divorce.

According to a report on Bombay Times, actress Karisma Kapoor and her Delhi-based businessman husband, Sunjay Kapur, are not to end the year with closure of their decade-old marriage after all. The couple, who filed a mutual consent divorce petition in the city family court, disagreed on some issues at their final hearing a few days ago, the report said. The two were packed off by the judge to work out a settlement by February, the report further stated. The celebrity couple was present in court along with their lawyers before principal judge Laxmi Rao on what was meant to be their date to get the decree — just before Christmas and in time to bring in the New Year with, perhaps, new partners — but both failed to agree to the terms of a trust being set up for the welfare of their two minor children, a nine-year-old daughter and a much younger son, reports Bombay Times. Karisma wanted to have more say and control over the trust than she was getting and Sunjay was unwilling to let go of his control, the report stated. Karisma, who resides in Oberoi Crest in Khar, and Sunjay, a resident of Chankyapuri in Delhi, had converted the custody plea into a mutual consent divorce petition in June. All formalities over, they were in court to get the divorce, but left discontented instead, concludes the Bombay Times report.
