The actress reportedly said that 'Aira Gaira' has been shot aesthetically; there was nothing vulgar in the approach. She said that one should view it as a dance song, and one must give credit to Abhishek (director) for doing it right.

She said that the only common thing between 'Kajra Re' and 'Aira Gaira' is that they both feature two boys and one girl. Everything else is totally different.

Since the young star had bulked up for his previous film, he entirely stopped working out and resumed his regular diet to achieve his naturally lean frame.

Speaking about the same, a source said, “Aditya enjoys going to the gym and most of his films in the past required him to sport a muscular physique. However, he had to lose all the muscle weight for ‘Kalank’, given that the film is a period drama and his look had to be natural and real, typical to that particular era. Aditya stopped training in the gym and let go of his diet, eating just about anything to achieve the look.”

Aditya Roy Kapur is currently shooting for the next schedule of ‘Kalank’ with Alia Bhatt and will soon start prep for Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’.

After celebrating her father Mahesh Bhatt's and friend Akansha Ranjan's birthday and also spending time in Bulgaria, Alia Bhatt is back on the sets of Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank'.

Alia took to her Instagram story to update the same to her fans. She posted a boomerang video of herself getting the touch up done by her stylists while she is sitting on a chair in front of a mirror. She captioned the video, "#Kalank Day 46".

TThe film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kiara Advani. It is an epic historical and emotional drama set in the 1940s and goes beyond the borders. The film will hit the screens on 19 April 2019.

Alia Bhatt is all set to share the screen space with Varun Dhawan once again in Karan Johar’s ambitious project ‘Kalank’ which will also feature Madhuri Dixit. The period film will reportedly have a dance duet of the two actresses.

According to reports, while Madhuri is a trained Kathak dancer, Alia Bhatt has been training for it rigorously for quite some time now. The young actress is reportedly devoting a lot of her time in getting the mudras right. Alia will also apparently get a chance to learn from Pandit Birju Maharaj. The song is reportedly a classical number which reflects the era of the film.

On the work front, Alia is currently shooting in abroad for ‘Brahmastra’ which also stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. The actress will reportedly soon return to India to shoot for the song.

Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, who have starred in films like 'Saajan' and 'Khalnayak', were one of the most loved on-screen pairs back in the 90's. The pair is all set to reunite on the silver screen after 21 years in Karan Johar's 'Kalank'.

According to a recent report, the two have shot for some dramatic scenes together in Mumbai rubbishing all the reports of them not having any scenes together in the film which is helmed by Abhishek Varman. The report even suggested that with these scenes done, Madhuri is now gearing up for a song which will be choreographed by Saroj Khan and Remo D’souza. 'Kalank' is currently scheduled to release on April 19, 2019.

A source from the set said, “The scene was an intense brawl sequence where Varun had to lift and throw a door at a co-actor. The lift was ill-timed, and he ended up injuring his arm badly. The team rushed to his aid and he was given immediate medical attention on set. However, the actor will not be taking a break from the shoot as Abhishek is aiming to wrap up the ongoing schedule before the onset of monsoons.”
