Salman Khan did not recommend Isabelle Kaif for ‘Time To Dance’?
Katrina Kaif’s younger sister Isabelle is all set to play the leading lady in ‘Time to Dance’ opposite Sooraj Pancholi and rumours mills were abuzz for the longest time that Isa was recommended by Salman Khan. In a fresh development, during the promotional interactions of ‘Race 3’, on being asked how Isabelle came to be cast in the movie, Remo, who also happens to be the producer of ‘Time to Dance’, reportedly said that he was looking for a fresh face and someone who would be good at dancing, since the film is based on dance mostly.
Remo revealed how an industry aide recommended her name and told him that she is indeed a good dancer. The ‘ABCD’ director said that this is when they approached Isabelle, and through auditions, they decided to take her in the film. Remo, a talented dancer himself, vouched for Isabelle’s dance skills as he reportedly said that she is a good dancer and above all, she also works very hard. Reacting to Salman’s involvement in her casting, Remo reportedly said that it is not true and he came to know about Isabelle getting the role much later.

D’costa will also be making his directorial debut with this film which is set to be shot in London in the second half of April over a 50-day schedule. Isabelle and Sooraj are reportedly practising different dance forms for their parts in the film. While Isabelle will play a Latin ballroom dancer, Sooraj will reportedly be seen as a street dancer self-trained in Salsa, Zumba and Bachata.
The film will reportedly showcase a very wide variety of dance forms ranging from Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive.

Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi?
Reportedly, Isabelle has a penchant for dance and upon seeing dancing in films, she realised this is what she would like to do. The star sister has also been signed by a beauty brand as their brand ambassador and is now prepping for the film which is expected to go on floors in May this year.
Acting debut
The film was about an Indian student played by Kunal Nayyar of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ fame who don’t get to study medicines in Canada and starts driving cabs in order to survive there. The film also has Vinay Virmani in a key role.
Trained and tested
Interestingly, Isabel studied at the same acting institute where her sister Katrina’s alleged ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor studied. She has been training as an actor and dancer for years now.
Speaking about her baby sister, Katrina had reportedly said that Isabelle started her career with an English film because she is comfortable with it and that it will always be her decision if she wishes to come into Bollywood. Katrina added that Isabelle is talented and confident and she is sure she will get work on her own.
Work experience
The young star sister is also reportedly said to have also worked as an assistant director for the movie ‘Summum Bonum’ in 2014.
The London based model is known to have a fondness for the arts. She comes from an extensive background in theatre and has also co-founded a production company.
Family matters
Katrina, who has successfully made her mark in Bollywood, reportedly serves as an inspiration to her baby sister. Isabelle had earlier reportedly said that she is inspired by Katrina and that she is a great role model to look up to.
