After the stupendous response to his film, Jurassic World, Irrfan Khan is a happy man. He is currently shooting for Inferno with Tom Hanks in Budapest. The renowned Hollywood actor had written a letter to Irrfan, a while ago, expressing his joy at the opportunity to work with Irrfan. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, when asked about Tom, Irrfan said, "Tom is down-to-earth, light-hearted and communicative. He is a huge star but will go to restaurants with his co-stars and is always joking around on the sets. He's everybody's friend. We discuss everything, from our hair to cinema. We both have curly hair and love it when it is straightened out." The two had even watched Jurassic World together along with the crew of Inferno. Recalling the experience, Irrfan says, Tom was laughing and clapping. It was fantastic to see him. Balle Balle! And Ron whose daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, plays the park's manager, Claire Dearing, found it engaging till the end despite the fact that everyone knows what will happen next."

Irrfan Khan tried his hand at flying a helicopter in his upcoming film Jurassic World, reports IANS. The actor was last seen in Life of Pi and Paan Singh Tomar. The report quoted him saying, “It was a great feeling altogether to have tried hands on a new and an exclusive vehicle. I now look forward to more of flying fun.” The actor has created a route for himself in the west through films like The Namesake, A Mighty Heart, Life of Pi, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

Irrfan Khan received a pleasant surprise when he landed in Budapest to shoot for Inferno. In a personalised gesture, Tom Hanks jotted down a message for the Piku star on a postcard that read, “This will be most pleasant movie to make, I think, provided you and I have a few more scenes together! If not, we will just have to save the world as is!" Irrfan, best known for his roles in Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and The Lunchbox, will play the role of Harry Sims aka The Provost, the head of a mysterious organisation. The film is an adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel and will be directed by Ron Howard.
