THIS is how Hrithik Roshan bagged his debut film, ‘Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai’

Hrithik Roshan made his big Bollywood debut with his father Rakesh Roshan’s directorial, ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’. Ever since then there has been no looking back for the actor.

He recently opened up about how he bagged his debut film and it is one helluva story! The actor reportedly revealed that although his father was aware of his acting aspirations, he had told him that he wouldn’t specifically make a film to launch him.

However, he added that, when his film, ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’ demanded a new face, Rakesh Roshan asked him to be ready in six months. According to Hrihtik, it was an interesting challenge for him to essay two contrasting characters in the movie.

Hrithik also went on to talk about his experiences working with senior Roshan. He confessed that they often have difference of opinions and he is still scared of upsetting his father.

​Shahid Kapoor would recast Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in 'Padmaavat'

Over a year since his film ‘Padmaavat’ hit screens, actor Shahid Kapoor, who played the role of Maharaj Rawal Ratan Singh opposite Ranveer Singh’s Alauddin Khilji and Deepika Padukone, has shared his thoughts about another trio who could have pulled off the lead roles. In a candid chat with Neha Dhupia, the actor said that the ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ trio - Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn would work well in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.

The actor was asked who he would recast as the three leads of ‘Padmaavat’, to which he replied, "Actually, the cast of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' would work well for that film as well."

Bhansali's ‘Padmaavat’ was based on 16th-century poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi's poem ‘Padmavat’. After much delays and controversies that lead to court cases, the film finally released in January 2018 and won the director a National Award, apart from also raking in the moolah at the box office.

​'Bhoot Part 1- The Haunted Ship' star Vicky Kaushal says he gets "very scared" to watch horror films

Bollywood hunk, Vicky Kaushal has been riding high on the back-to-back successes of his films. From starring in action thrillers to romantic and espionage flick, the actor will be trying out the horror genre for the first time with his next ‘Bhoot Part 1- The Haunted Ship’. Despite putting on a brave face for the film, the star has admitted that in reality, he is scared to watch horror films.

Speaking about his decision to come on board the film, Vicky said, “I was contemplating before I read the script not after I read the script. So, before I read the script I was like 'Horror? pata nahi kaisai hoga, kya hoga" because I myself I am very scared to watch horror films.”

He went on to add that it was the script that had him hooked. He said in an interview with IANS, “When I read the script it really spooked me out and I thought it never tried to make me feel scared it was just happening while I was reading and I really got sucked into that story."

The film that also stars Bhumi Pednekar reportedly follows a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach. We had reported that it is based on a true incident that took place in Mumbai a while back.

‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’ has been pushed to February 21, 2020. The film was earlier slated to release on November 15.

​Kriti Sanon talks about her role in 'Panipat'; says it was very interesting to play a Marathi character

Kriti Sanon who was last seen in 'Luka Chuppi' is gearing up for her next, a period drama titled 'Panipat'. Recently, the actress opened up about her role in the film.


Talking about the same, she said that she found it very interesting to play a Marathi character from a different era. She added that she doesn't know Marathi at all, however, she learned a bit for the film from her tutor. The actress added that she would like to sit with her tutor during scenes and learn how to pronounce different words and add more on her own.


Kriti also talked about her scenes in the film. She said that she did a small portion of a sword fight and which was interesting for her as she has never done sword fighting. She was excited and thrilled as she was shooting action sequences. She further added that fighting in a 'Nauvari' saree was a task.


Helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film stars Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor. The film will hit the theatres on December 06.
