Kapil Dev's fanboy moment: Cricketing legend, Kapil Dev shared the commentary platform with Big B as he made his debut on the mic. However, Kapil couldn't resist asking Amitabh Bachchan, a volley of questions that seemed more like a fan's curiosity rather than commentator's banter. Being the professional that he is Amitabh answered every question patiently and indulged Kapil, while trying to keep up with the match.

India India: Trust every true blue Indian to be a little biased when it comes to the Indian cricket team. Amitabh too couldn't resist the pull and was seen wishing the stars for his country. At a point in time when India was scoring on an average of 5 runs per over, Amitabh wished the team escalated the average to about 8 runs per over and maintained it throughout. This sky-high expectation fetched Big B some laughs from his fellow commentators.

Winning wish: When asked as to what he was doing to celebrate India's win at the 1983 World Cup, Amitabh jogged his memory but drew a blank before remembering that he had watched the match with his family and celebrated afterwards. However, he pointed out that he was out and about town when India had won the 2011 World Cup. He urged people to gather in one place and celebrate the win. Giving an example, he said that people of Mumbai could gather at the Gateway of India and celebrate together.

Superstitious some?: We all are a little superstitious when it comes to our favourite team and Big B too seemed no different. The superstar confessed that though he always catches the action even while on the go what with cellphones streaming matches live, he prefers watching it. He also reasoned that India always wins the matches that he watches and so he was raring to go away from the commentary box and catch the match too root for his favourites.
