Hero: Things we liked in the trailer

Hardcore action: The trailer of the film, Hero, starring newcomers, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya shetty, is finally out. Going by the looks of it, the film seems to have all the makings of an entertainer. The makers of the film have ensured that the film is packed with elements of romance, action and drama. Salman's hero, Sooraj Pancholi, doesn't disappoint and Athiya is splendid!

Romance: One of the biggest highlights of the film is its romance quotient. The trailer of the film promises a passionate love story. Just like the original film that starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri, Hero’s soul is the romance. Spicing things up is the fresh jodi of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. The trailer ends with the epic dialogue, 'Pyaar karne wale kabhi darte nahi...jo darte hai woh, pyaar karte nahi,' that formed the lyrics of a song in the original film. This seems to sum up the film's story. Hero is slated to release on September 11, 2015.

Sooraj Pancholi: The newcomer got teary-eyed at the trailer launch of the film and confessed that he couldn't have asked for a better launch. The trailer proves it all. Each frame of the trailer proves that Sooraj is indeed the hero of the film. The trailer has Sooraj Pancholi performing some high-octane action scenes which he seems to have done with ease. From dancing to acting, Sooraj impresses in all departments in the first trailer of Hero. Just like his mentor, Salman Khan, Sooraj seems to have really worked on his body which is sure to get him noticed further.

Athiya: With her well-defined features and apparent poise, Athiya Shetty looks promising and makes an impression. Suniel Shetty's daughter, who is making her debut with the film, shows that she isn’t only a pretty face. Her acting chops seem right in place from what is seen in the trailer of the film. The newbie reminds you of Sonam Kapoor from Saawariya. The first trailer highlights all the possible USPs of the film and Athiya stands out as one of them. She plays a fearless girl who speaks her mind.

Chemistry between the lead pair: Salman Khan Films' Hero trailer begins with a black-and-white montage of scenes. Newbies, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, share a crackling chemistry in the love-story that has been directed by Nikhil Advani. It is the chemistry of Sooraj and Athiya that will make you fall in love with the film. Glimpses of Sooraj's father, Aditya Pancholi, can also be seen in the trailer. Reportedly, the film also stars Govinda and Vinod Khanna.
