Eid has once again turned out to be lucky for Salman Khan. The first-day collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan has broken the record of Salman Khan's last year's release, Kick, and Aamir Khan's, PK. According to a statement released by Eros International and Salman Khan Films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has earned Rs 102.60 crore in three days. On Friday, July 17, the film earned Rs 27.25 crore, Saturday, July 18, it made Rs 36.60 crore and on Sunday, July 19, the film minted Rs 38.75 crore. The cumulative collections have shot the graph through the roof making the film, the fastest film to cross the coveted Rs 100 crore mark.

PK: According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial venture, PK, was the highest grosser in the following seven circuits after two weeks - Mumbai, Delhi / UP, East Punjab, CP Berar, CI, Mysore and West Bengal. The film had generated a rush at the box-office, which was evident from its opening day collections. The weekend collections were also impressive and the film crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark in no time. An elated Anushka tweeted, "I am literally in tears reading the overwhelming love & response you guys have shown for PK & us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." [sic]

Happy New Year: Shah Rukh Khan's Diwali release Happy New Year joined the bandwagon of fastest 100 crore movies of Bollywood. According to a report on Koimoi.com, HNY had collected approximately Rs 82.67 crore on its first Saturday. According to a Red Chillies press note, the film had managed to touch the coveted Rs 100 crore mark over the first weekend itself, grossing Rs 108.86 crore, with a break up of Rs 104.10 crore in Hindi, Rs 2.92 crore in Telugu and Rs. 1.84 crore in Tamil.

Bang Bang: Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang had created a huge hype before its release. The film that was promoted as an action packed masala entertainer got an amazing response at the box office on the first day itself, breaking many records. The film continued to do so and crossed the magical Rs 100 crore figure in less than five days. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Bang Bang achieved this feat in the first half of the fifth day of its release, according to reports.

Singham Returns: Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns crossed the Rs 100 crore mark but that isn't why it made news. The fact that it touched the magical figure in just five days is what made Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns special. Ajay reprised his popular character of police inspector Bajirao Singham in the sequel to Rohit Shetty's 2011 popular film Singham. Singham Returns released on Independence Day and cashed in on the long weekend ahead. According to a report on koimoi.com, Singham Returns made more than Rs 50 crore in just the first two days.

Kick: The much awaited Salman Khan-starrer Kick struck gold at the box office and no one was surprised to know that. Not only did Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Jackie Shroff and Katrina Kaif, made Rs 100 crore, but it went down in history as the fastest film to have done so. Dhoom 3 that released on Christmas in 2013 made Rs 100 crore in just three days! According to koimoi.com, the total collections of Dhoom 3 were Rs 280.25 crores. It was the first time that Aamir Khan played the villain for the very successful film series.

Chennai Express: If we are talking about films that made fastest Rs 100 crore, we cannot rule out the Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express. Directed by Rohit Shetty and co-starring Deepika Padukone, the film made Rs 100 crore in 3.5 days of its release. However, the film did not stop at just that and went ahead and made a grand total of Rs 226.70 crore at the box office as per koimoi.com reports. Considering that fact that Shah Rukh Khan is a huge marketing magnet himself, the superstar waved his magical marketing wand over the audiences who helped him mint so much moolah at the box office so quickly.

Krrish 3: Krrish 3 was loved by Hrithik fans so much that the film gobbled up Rs 100 crore in no time. In just four days, Krrish 3 crossed the Rs 100 crore hurdle. The film eventually grossed Rs 240.50 crore at the box office. Directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan, the film also starred actor Vivek Oberoi in a negative role along with Kangna Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra.

Ek Tha Tiger: Salman Khan Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan co-starring Katrina Kaif, was special for all Salmna Khan fans who wanted to see him with his ex-love on screen. Ek Tha Tiger created such a buzz at the box office that it made Rs 100 crore in just six days. The film however fell short of the magical Rs 200 crore figure and according to a report on koimoi.com ended up grossing Rs 198 crore at the box office.

Dabangg 2: The year 2012 was definitely a good year for Salman Khan which translated into a treat for his fans. The much awaited sequel of his popular Dabangg released and Chulbul Pandey did not disappoint this time as well. Dabangg 2 took the story of Chulbul Pandey further and starred Sonakshi Sinha, Prakash Raj, Arbaaz Khan and Vinod Khanna. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani joined the biggies by earning Rs 100 crore in just 7 days! Bodyguard: The 2011 film Bodyguard that starred Kareena Kapoor opposite Salman Khan was another Rs 100 crore grosser. The film made Salman Khan's brother-in-law and producer Atul Agnihotri richer as it managed to earn the money in just 8 days straight. Bodyguard is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. 3 Idiots: The first film to have made a double century at the box office, 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani, made a total of Rs 202 crore at the box office as per a report on koimoi.com. The film went ahead and made Rs 100 crore in a little more than nine days when it released in 2009. Ra.One and Dabangg: Shah Rukh Khan went ahead and got another Rs 100 crore that features in the fastest Rs 100 crore club. Ra.One starring Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor grossed a total of Rs 115 crore at the box office while Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Dabangg earned Rs 145 crore.
