Bollywood star Deepika Padukone brought on the drama with a touch of glamour to a mental health luncheon she attended in Davos, Switzerland. The actress who has been among the many prominent stars at the World Economic Forum was also felicitated with the Crystal Award for her contribution to mental health awareness.
The actress took to her social media handle to share photos of herself looking every bit like a true movie star in the all-white ensemble that came with an oversized bow and feather detailing. She topped the look off with a large over-coat, pearl earrings and white heels.
Deepika also engaged in a panel discussion where she spoke about her foundation and its work in spreading mental health awareness in India.
Once back in the bay, Deepika will soon begin work on promoting her next film with hubby Ranveer Singh, ’83. The Kabir Khan directorial will see her play the role of Romi Dev in the biopic on cricketer Kapil Dev and his role in leading team India to their iconic World Cup victory in 1983. The sports drama is slated for a release on 10 April 2020.

With exactly a month to go until ‘Chhapaak’ hits theatres, Deepika Padukone officially kicked off film promotions and did so in her fashionable best.
Signalling the start of winter fashion, the actress opted for an all-pink ensemble with a matching flowy overcoat. Wearing her short new hairdo down in loose waves, the actress was all smiles as she took the stage of a reality show, where she seemingly had a wonderful time promoting her upcoming film.
Going by the pictures doing the rounds on social media, it was a bright, colourful and cheery day for the actress, who was seen overwhelmed with emotions yesterday, at the trailer launch event.
‘Chhapaak’ will not only see Deepika play the lead role of an acid attack survivor but will also mark her production debut with the film.
It will release on 10 January 2020, and is set to clash with Ajay Devgn’s period film ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’.
